Murrie was a body and paint specialist with Bill Jacobs Chevrolet in Joliet having served them for many years. A Chevy enthusiast through and through, some say Murrie knew of no other brand. He also enjoyed constructing boxes for the popular “bags” game. A man who was unwavering in his beliefs, he never met a stranger and befriended most, especially if they agreed with his philosophy!
