Chicken-N-Spice is known for our fabulous Chicken Chunks, they are 3 oz pieces of always fresh never frozen chicken Breast that is marinated in our proprietary seasoning for 24 hours before being hand breaded. We also make our very popular Spicy Rice, coleslaw and chicken salad in house. Our weekly features include Bone in Chicken Wednesday's and here at Chicken-N-Spice Thursday is always "Gumbo Day". We are also known for catering our Chicken Chunks and our homemade sides for your parties and events.

MORRIS, IL — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a Freightliner semi tractor-trailer Thursday afternoon on I-80 west of Brisbin Road. Illinois State Police said the semi was heading west when it hit a pedestrian who was in a traffic lane.State police identified the pedestrian as Jacob Perry, 27, of Morris. Perry was pronounced dead at the scene by the Grundy County coroner. The incident remains under investigation.
