Police Sketch Artist Meeting Tuesday with Jogging Path Sex Assault Victim

A police sketch artist was scheduled to meet Tuesday with the woman sexually assaulted on the I&M Canal path.

The woman was jogging on the path near the intersection of Larkin Avenue and Interstate 80 when she was attacked Sunday morning, according to the state police.

The woman’s assailant was described as a 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, black-haired Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s. He was wearing dark sweatpants, a white T-shirt and an orange long-sleeved shirt.
