CHANNAHON, IL — Village officials released additional information for residents impacted by Tuesday's storm as some people remain without power Wednesday afternoon.

As of 9:30 a.m., Commonwealth Edison said power has been restored to 87 percent of the affected area, but not 87 percent of all customers. In the coming days, Channahon Public Works will begin collecting debris and downed trees from the storm. If a resident wants debris removed from their yard, they must bring it to the curb in front of their property, as village officials can't come onto private property to pick up debris.
