Update: 3 Wounded - 1 Critically - After Ruby Street Gun Attack
The gunman remains at large.

Three men were wounded and one went into surgery in critical condition following the Friday evening gun attack on Ruby Street.
The shooter, described only as wearing all dark clothing, approached his targets from the east and opened fire, said Joliet Deputy Police Chief Al Roechner. Ruby Street was shut down by police following the 5:30 p.m. incident.

The three wounded men had been standing outside the barbershop at the corner of Ruby and Wilcox streets, Roechner said.
All three were taken to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. The injuries suffered by two of the men were considered to be less than lethal.
