Calvary Assembly of Chicago Heights To Host Food Pantry Event
The Calvary Assembly of Chicago Heights is having their food pantry event on Tuesday. All foods will be distributed to those in need.
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — The Calvary Assembly of Chicago Heights is having their food pantry event on Tuesday Nov. 17. All foods will be distributed to those in need of it.
The Calvary Assembly, located at 274 W. Glengate Ave, will distribute items to the trunks of participants early Tuesday Afternoon at 12:15 p.m. The organization has had to reschedule this event in the past due to COVID-19 cases among staff members, according to the organization's Facebook page.

Lineup begins no earlier than 12:15 p.m, according to the organization. The Calvary said to clean out your trunk because they cannot load over and around children.
Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed, according to the Calvary. The organization said no ID required to attend.

"We ask that you kindly be respectful of our neighbors and businesses in the area. Please do not block their entries and do not use their parking lots to try and line up early," The Calvary said. "All of our workers are volunteers from the church and community. We respectfully ask you to follow their directions, and everyone will be served as quickly and efficiently as possible while supplies last."
