Chicago Heights, Park Forest Men Arrested In Chicago Carjacking: CPD

The men were arrested on I-57 in Matteson on Wednesday evening.

CHICAGO — Two suburban men were arrested in connection with a carjacking in Chicago earlier this week, Chicago police said.

The Chicago Police Robbery Task Force on Nov. 5 just before 6 p.m. arrested Davion Riggs, 25, of Chicago Heights, and Macharion Autry Moore, 24, of Park Forest, on I-57 in Matteson. The two were identified as suspects who had carjacked a 32-year-old man an hour earlier, in Chicago.

They were taken into custody and each charged with one felony count of vehicular hijacking.

Detention hearing was set for Friday, Nov. 7, at the George N. Leighton Criminal Court Building.
