Cook County Studies Multi-Use Path Connecting Sauk Village And Steger
Board members voted to approve a new study that will look into a path on Cottage Grove Avenue, Sauk Trail, Cornell Avenue and 223rd Street.
SAUK VILLAGE, IL — The Cook County board has approved a partnership that will study a multi-use path in Sauk Village.
According to officials, the partnership will pair Department of Transportation and Highways with Itasca-based company BLA Inc.
The company will look into the engineering and environmental logistics of building a path that hopes to connect Cottage Grove Avenue, Sauk Trail, Cornell Avenue and 223rd Street. The multi-use path, if approved, will run through Sauk Village and Steger.
