Officials said the event was meant to run all week but high demand means they have to wait for additional $50 gift cards to resume Friday.
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Bloom Township trustees are hosting an additional gas card giveaway after passing out hundreds of free gas cards to senior citizens Tuesday, township officials told Patch.
According to a spokeswoman for Bloom Township Supervisor Thomas Somer, the event was intended to run all week but high demand for the $50 gift cards means the township has to wait for additional cards to come in before resuming the giveaway on Friday.
