1 Killed, 3 Juveniles Critically Injured In 3-Vehicle Crash
In total, five people were injured and one person was killed in the Sunday afternoon crash along Route 14.
WOODSTOCK, IL — One adult was killed and five people were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Route 14 in Woodstock Sunday afternoon.
The collision happened at about 3:15 p.m. on Route 14 near Dean Street, according to a news release from the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District.
Two of the vehicles involved in the crash were heavily damaged and all people inside those vehicles needed to be extricated. One adult was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Two adults were taken to local hospitals — one with critical injuries — and three juveniles were critically injured and taken by helicopter to pediatric trauma centers, according to police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
