1 Injured After Car Drives Through Bank In Harvard
A woman was hospitalized after she drove her car into First National Bank of Omaha, 355 South Division Street in Harvard.

A woman was transported to the hospital after she drove her car completely into a bank in Harvard Sunday evening, fire officials said.
The Harvard Police Department and Harvard Fire Protection District responded around 5:23 p.m. Sunday to First National Bank of Omaha, 355 South Division Street in Harvard. Harvard Fire Protection District Communication Specialist Alex Vucha said a 911 call was made for a vehicle crash with entrapment at the location.

Responding firefighters arrived on the scene within three minutes and confirmed a vehicle had crashed into the building. The Chevrolet sedan had driven through the front entryway of the bank and was completely inside the building, Vucha said.
The female driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and no one was inside the bank.

The woman was transported by ambulance to Mercy Harvard Hospital with minor injuries, Vucha said. The bank was closed because it was Sunday; however, there was at least one staff member inside at the time.
No one else sustained injuries during the incident besides the driver. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Harvard Police Department.
