$1 Movies Return To Crystal Lake Regal Theaters This Summer

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Regal Cinemas chain, which has five movie theaters in Illinois, is bringing back its $1 family movies this summer.

Regal’s Summer Movie Express promotion features 18 films, including “Despicable Me 3,” “Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway,” “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” and “PAW Patrol: The Movie.”

The Regal Cinema theater at 5000 W. Route 14 in Crystal Lake is among the Regal theaters nationwide that will be offering discounted movies.

The discounted movies start at 11 a.m. local time on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 7. The promotion also includes a junior-sized drink, snack-sized popcorn, and fruit snacks for $5. An optional Dippin’ Dots add-on is available for $3.
