11 St. Charles Businesses Cited For Selling Alcohol, Tobacco To Minors
The compliance checks were conducted on Nov. 20 and 21 in the city of St. Charles.
ST. CHARLES, IL — Eleven businesses in St. Charles have fined for allegations they sold alcohol or tobacco to a minor in recent weeks.
On Dec. 16, St. Charles Mayor Lora Vitek, acting as Liquor Control Commissioner, enforced local ordinances for several businesses at a St. Charles Liquor Control Commission meeting. The commission is responsible for considering alcohol, tobacco, and massage license issues.
The following businesses were cited and fined during compliance checks on Nov. 20 and 21 in St. Charles:

- Krish Ria Convenience/St. Charles BP, 1660 West Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21 for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years, city officials said. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 in court fees.
- SavWay Fine Wines & Spirits, 2580 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21, for allegations they servied alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
- Aldi, Inc., 1200 North Kirk Road, was cited on Nov. 21, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
- Charles Hospitality, LLC / Hilton Garden Inn, 4070 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
- The Pride Stores, Inc / The Pride Stores St. Charles, 30W180 Butterfield Road., was cited on Nov. 21, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years and failure to require adequate written evidence to serve a person over the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $1,000 and issued $500 court fees.
- Liquor "N' Wine, Inc / Liquor "N" Wine #2, 2460 West Main Street, Suite 100, was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years, according to city officials. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
- Ton-Ichi Ramen, 3843 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years, failure to require adequate written evidence to serve a person over the age of 21 years, and service of alcoholic liquor by a juvenile not yet 18 years of age, according to a news release from the city of St. Charles. The licensee was fined $1,000 and issued $500 court fees.
- Xa Maly Thai, Inc / Maly Thai, 3825 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years, city officials said. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
- Krisha Ria Convenience, Inc / BP Amoco, 1660 West Main Street, was cited on Nov. 20, 2024, for selling tobacco/alternative nicotine products to a minor, according to the news release. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
- Charles BP, LLC / St. Charles BP, 1745 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 20, 2024, for selling tobacco/alternative nicotine product to a minor, according to city officials. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
- ZB Management/Z Smoke N Vape, 2045 Lincoln Highway, was cited on Nov. 20, 2024, for selling tobacco/alternative nicotine product to a minor, city officials said. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
