2 Adults, 2 Children Injured In Thanksgiving Crash

The two-vehicle collision happened near Woodstock Thursday night.

WOODSTOCK, IL — Two adults and two children were injured in a two-vehicle rollover collision on Thanksgiving near Woodstock.

The collision happened at Charles Road and North Queen Anne Road in unincorporated Woodstock at about 7:20 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District.

The vehicle that rolled over sustained significant damage, but all occupants, including the two adults and two children, were able to get out of the vehicle on their own before emergency crews arrived, fire officials said. They were all taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police said the children involved in the crash were properly restrained in their seats, which contributed to their safety.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
