2 Dogs Die In McHenry County Fire
The blaze happened Friday afternoon in the 21000 block of West Coral Road.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A dog has died in a fire that happened in McHenry County on Friday afternoon.
The Marengo Fire & Rescue District was called to the home in the 21000 block of West Coral Road at about 2:30 p.m. Friday for a report of a blaze in the attached garage of a single-family home, according to a news release from the Marengo fire and rescue districts.
Firefighters found a dog dead in the garage, according to fire officials. Two people who were at the home at the time were able to safely get.

No one was injured in the fire, but six people have been displaced following the blaze, according to the news release.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
