2 Injured In Fiery, Head-On Crash Near Lakewood
The collision happened Wednesday afternoon at Haligus and Lakewood roads, according to authorities.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Two people were injured in a fiery head-on collision near Lakewood Wednesday afternoon.
The collision happened at about 4:30 p.m. when a white sedan and a black sports utility vehicle collided at Haligus and Lakewood roads, according to a news release from the Huntley Fire Protection District.
Both drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries, according to the news release.
