2 Teens Critically Injured In Crash In Woodstock
The collision happened Wednesday evening on Route 47.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Two McHenry County teens were seriously injured in a collision that happened on Route 47 in Woodstock Wednesday evening.
The collision happened at about 6:45 p.m. when a 2003 Ford truck headed north in the 4900 block of Route 47 crossed into the southbound lane of traffic and then into the ditch before coming to rest near a house, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
Both the driver and a passenger — an 18-year-old from Hebron and a 19-year-old from Richmond — were ejected from the truck.

Both teens were taken by helicopter to hospitals for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
