55-Year-Old Crystal Lake Woman ID'd As Fatal Crash Victim: Coroner
Kristi Doll was pronounced dead at the scene of the three-car crash which took place Friday in Newport Township, Lake County officials said.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL —A 55-year-old Crystal Lake woman was killed on Friday in a three-car crash in Newport Township, according to the Lake County Coroner.
Kristi Doll was identified as the driver who was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which took place at 8:45 a.m. on Friday on Route 173 near Killbourne Avenue, the Lake County Coroner’s Office announced on Monday.
Deputies arrived at the scene of the crash and found three vehicles that had sustained heavy damage. An autopsy was conducted on Friday by the Coroner’s Office on Friday and investigators determined that Doll died from blunt force injuries sustained in the crash, the coroner’s office said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Team.
