$550K Lucky Day Lotto Ticket Sold At McHenry County Grocery Store
The winning ticket, one of two sold in Illinois for an $1.1 million jackpot, was sold at the Lakemoor Woodman's ahead of Sunday's drawing.
LAKEMOOR, IL — Two Illinois residents are sharing a $1.1 million prize after purchasing winning lottery tickets at local retailers, including one in Lakemoor, lottery officials announced on Monday.
The two winners will each claim $550,000 after matching all five numbers in Sunday night’s Lucky Day Lotto drawing. The winning numbers were 1, 5, 21, 25, and 41.
The winning ticket in Lakemoor was purchased at the Woodman’s store, which is located at 27555 Illinois Route 120. The other ticket was purchased at Kinney Pump House in Durand.

Both retailers will receive a bonus of $5,500 — one percent of the winnings, lottery officials said.
This is the fourth Lucky Day Lotto jackpot won in March and the second jackpot to be split by two winners this month, Illinois Lottery officials said. In total, more than 26,000 winning tickets were sold in Sunday’s midday Lucky Day Lotto drawing.

Winning ticket holders have one year from the date of their draw in which to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages all winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize, officials said.
