Cary Junior High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat, Police Say
Cary Deputy Police Chief Scott Naydenoff said the allegation of a bomb threat was "vague" and was made by a student at the school.

Police say they evacuated Cary Junior High School Wednesday morning after responding to a report of a “vague” bomb threat.
The Cary Police Department responded to the Cary Junior High School, located at 2109 Crystal Lake Road in Cary.

Cary Deputy Police Chief Scott Naydenoff told Lake and McHenry County Scanner his department received a report of a bomb threat at the school.
Naydenoff said the allegation of a bomb threat was “vague” and was made by a student at the school.

Police officers are currently assisting with a temporary evacuation while the building is searched.
Naydenoff said he anticipates the students will be able to return to their classes once the search is complete.
Cary School District 26 has not yet publicly released any information on the incident.
