Cary Police Release Results From St. Paddy's Day Details
Local officers were out in full force during the St. Patrick's Day enforcement period.
CARY, IL — The results are in from a recent traffic enforcement campaign that took place over the St. Patrick's Day holiday in Cary.
The Cary Police Department issued several additional citations as part of the details, including seven speeding citations and one ticket for following too close, according to a news release from the police department. In addition, one person was arrested for not having a valid driver's license.
The Cary Police Department joined forces with other law enforcement agencies across the state to take part in the special holiday detail. The safety effort is funded by federal safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
