Cary Police Sergeant Graduates From School of Police Staff and Command

From Cary Police Department: The Cary Police Department is pleased to announce the graduation of Sergeant Chris Winkelmann from the School of Police Staff and Command sponsored by Northwestern University. The program, consisting of a total of 10 weeks of training, was held in Crystal Lake, IL. from September 12, 2016 to January 20, 2017. Sergeant Winkelmann was in SPSC Class #407, which accommodated 36 students.

Some topics that were covered in the training were human resources, resource allocation, leadership, budgeting and employee relations. Students are given several exams throughout the training and they are also required to complete various projects and a comprehensive Staff Study.
