The Cary-Grove Trojans beat the Guilford Vikings 28-17 on Saturday in the first round of the IHSA Class 6A playoffs, the Northwest Herald reports.

The Cary-Grove Trojans will travel to Rockford on Saturday to face the Guilford Vikings in the first round of the Class 6A high school football playoffs, McHenry County Sports is reporting.
The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Cary-Grove is seeded No. 9, and the Vikings are seeded No. 8. The Trojans hold the area's record for advancing to the playoffs for 10 consecutive years. Cary-Grove has never lost a first-round game in all of those 10 years, MCS reports.
