Child, Teen Hospitalized After 2-Car Crash In McHenry County
The collision happened Thursday afternoon in Harvard.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A woman and her child were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Harvard Thursday afternoon.
The collision happened at about 4 p.m. at Route 23 and Streit Road when a small sports utility vehicle crashed and then rolled over, according to a news release from the Harvard Fire Protection District.
The woman was evaluated by paramedics but declined further treatment. Her child was taken to Mercy Harvard Hospital with moderate injuries.

A teenage driver of the second vehicle, a sedan, was transported to Javon Bea Hospital—Riverside in Rockford with moderate injuries, according to the news release.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
