Christmas In Crystal Lake:' Peppermint Park' Display Returns

Depot Park becomes "Peppermint Park" during the holiday season, with lights and decorated Christmas trees on display.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The holidays are in full swing in Crystal Lake.

For those who have not yet stopped out to Depot Park, which becomes "Peppermint Park" during the holiday season, there are currently 40 custom-decorated trees on display. A stop out to Christmas Tree Lane is a great way to get into the holiday spirit.

The trees are decorated by groups from local churches, charities and businesses and will be on display until Dec. 31.
