Coroner IDs Woman Found Dead Near Edge Of Corn Field In McHenry County
Laurana Talo, 27, of Walworth, Wisconsin, has been identified as the woman found dead Tuesday morning.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A woman found dead near the edge of a corn field in McHenry County has been identified as Laurana Talo, of Walworth, Wisconsin.
An autopsy will be performed on Talo Wednesday, authorities said.
On Tuesday morning, the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District was called to the area of Route 14 and Hughes Road in unincorporated Woodstock for a reported unknown medical emergency, according to a news release from the fire/rescue district.

Authorities said it's believed Talo sustained traumatic injuries "believed to be associated with a firearm," according to the news release.She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of Halo's death is under investigation.
