Coroner IDs Wonder Lake Man, 49, Killed In Crash

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — The McHenry County Coroner's Office has identified a 49-year-old Wonder Lake man killed in a two-car crash Friday.

Preliminary results from an autospy show Joseph M. Depner, 49, of Wonder Lake, died from blunt force injuries sustained in the collision at Barnard Mill Road and Summit Drive in Wonder Lake, according to a news release from the coroner's office.

Toxicology is pending in the case, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
