Could Crystal Lake Again Have Two Dispensaries In Town?: Silver Jade Proposed For Route 31 Location

The Crystal Lake Planning & Zoning Commission OK'd opening Silver Jade in the former location of Spark'd dispensary.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A new marijuana dispensary could be coming soon to Crystal Lake. And it is proposed to open in the location of Spark'd —a dispensary that abruptly closed in December after just a year of business at 330 N. Route 31, Shaw Local News Network is reporting.

The Crystal Lake Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved a special use permit to allow for the new dispensary, which would be called Silver Jade, to open at the Route 31 location. The Crystal Lake City Council is now set to vote on the mater on Sept. 16.

Crystal Lake currently has one other marijuana dispensary in town, Ivy Hall Dispensary.
