Crystal Lake Convenience Store Sells $700K Winning Lottery Ticket

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL —A neighborhood convenience store in recently sold a jackpot-winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $700,000.

The ticket, which scored the jackpot price during a Friday drawing, was sold at Convenient Liquor & Wine, 201 W. Virginia St. in Crystal Lake, according to Illinois Lottery officials. The ticket matched all five numbers, 1-11-27-34-33, to win the prize.

For selling the winning ticket, Convenient Liquor & Wine will receive a selling bonus of one percent of the prize amount or $7,000.

The Illinois Lottery encourages all lucky winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize. Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw in which to claim their prize, according to a news release.
