Crystal Lake Man Charged With Possession Of Cocaine, Meth: Police
Philip Dawson, 36, was charged with intending to deliver 1 to 15 ounces of both of the drugs and also was charged with resisting arrest.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A 36-year-old Crystal Lake man faces drug charges after he was charged with Tuesday with possessing cocaine and methamphetamine, according to court records.
Philip Dawson was arrested and charged with being in possession of and intending to deliver 15 to 100 grams of methamphetamine, which is a Class X felony, records show. Dawson was also found to be in possession of 1 to 15 ounces of cocaine, which he also intended to deliver, according to the criminal complaint.
Dawson was also charged with resisting arrest and refused to cooperate with police officers or put his hands behind his back and actively pulled away from officers after being told police had a warrant for his arrest, according to the criminal complaint.

Dawson is scheduled to be back in court on a bond hearing on April 4. He is being held in the McHenry County Jail on $215,000 bond and must post 10 percent of that amount to be released.
