Crystal Lake Teacher, Coach On Leave For 'Matter' Involving Minor
CLPD notified the district it was initiating an investigation into the school's head girls soccer coach and chemistry teacher, Jay Mueller.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A Crystal Lake South High School coach and teacher was placed on paid administrative leave Tuesday due to what Community High School District 155 reported as an ongoing personal matter involving a minor, according to Northwest Herald. The news report said the Crystal Lake Police Department notified the district Tuesday morning it was initiating an investigation into the school's head girls soccer coach and chemistry teacher, Jay Mueller.
The district said in a statement it is cooperating fully with the police investigation, adding, "We are unable to make further comment at this time," according to Northwest Herald.
