D155 Schools Partner With Park District To Feature Nature Photography
The Nature-Based Photography Showcase will be on display through January 31.

From D155: The Crystal Lake Park District presents Nature-Based Photography in collaboration with Crystal Lake Central, Crystal Lake South, and Prairie Ridge High Schools.
For the first time, the three Crystal Lake high schools partnered with the Nature Center at Veteran Acres. Students spent time photographing the Nature Center so photos could be used for plant identification as well as other educational needs. Images were compiled and then the student photographers voted for the strongest images from each category. The winning images will be printed and displayed.
Each photography student will have artwork represented. The Nature-Based Photography Showcase will be on display through January 31. The closing reception is January 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The Crystal Lake Park District Nature Center is located at 330 North Main Street and is open Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. -5 p.m.
