Dogs Escape Blaze At Home In Trout Valley
No one was home at the time of the fire and two dogs inside the residence were able to get out unharmed.

CARY, IL — No one was injured and two dogs were able to get out of a house that went up in flames in Trout Valley Wednesday afternoon.
The Cary Fire Protection District was called to the two-story residence in the 0 to 100 block of Marryat Road at about 2:30 p.m. and found a "significant fire" on the north side of the home, according to a news release from the fire protection district.
No one was home at the time of the fire, fire officials said. Two dogs were inside the residence but were able to escape unharmed.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
