Driver Falls Asleep, SUV Hits Tree and Flips on Route 176

Bob Beith, 70, of Elburn, was traveling east on Route 176 Wednesday, when he fell asleep at the wheel and his Ford Explorer hit a tree and flipped over, the Northwest Herald reports. 

Beith crawled out the SUV through the driver's side window and suffered only minor scratches on his arms. The car was towed by noon on July 3, the Herald reports.
