Former Cary Church Hits Housing Market
For $419,000, a historic church in downtown Cary could be yours. Realtors say it could make a beautiful home for the right family.

CARY, IL — A former church may make the perfect home for one local family and downtown Cary has just the spot for anyone looking to live in one.
Real estate broker Daniel Gleason, of the Bremer Team, Keller William Success Realty, told the Daily Herald said he thinks a former church at 204 Spring Street would make "an awesome home." The brick building, which has a steeple and a large room filled with chairs for services, hit the market in September and is listed for $419,000.
The building is located on an "over-sized corner lot" that has a full finished basement with high ceilings, and is located a block from downtown Cary's business district, according to the Zillow.com listing.
