Girl Reported Missing Over Weekend In McHenry Co. Found Safe: Police

The girl was reported missing Saturday and found safe Sunday, police said.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A girl reported missing over the weekend has been found safe, authorities said Sunday.

The Johnsburg Police Department requested the public's help in tracking down the girl who was last seen in the 3600 block of Fillmore Road in Johnsburg at about 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, according to police. She did not have a cell phone with her at the time — or any other way to contact her.

On Sunday, police reported the girl had been found.
