ID Unknown On Person Found Dead In Burning Truck: Coroner
The truck fire was first reported on May 4 near West Ringwood Road and South Solon Road in unincorporated McHenry.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — The McHenry County Coroner's Office has not yet identified a person found badly burned inside a truck that started on fire near McHenry earlier this month.
On Monday, McHenry County Coroner Michael Rein announced an identification could not be determined due to the severe burns on the person, according to a news release from the coroner's office.
The McHenry County Sheriff's Office was first called to investigate the vehicle fire near West Ringwood Road and South Solon Road in unincorporated McHenry on May 4. DNA testing is currently pending, according to the news release.

The coroner’s office is working with the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and McHenry Township Fire Department to investigate the death.
