If You Go: Lakeside Fest Kicks Off Thursday, Full Schedule Released

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Fourth of July is quickly approaching and preparations are well underway for one of Crystal Lake's premiere events, which also coincides with July 4th: Lakeside Festival.

The four-day festival gets underway on July 4 and continues through July 7. Fireworks, music, a parade, carnival rides, a kids day, a kids ice-cream eating contest and more are on the schedule for this year's fest.

The gate charge per day is $10 for ages 13 years and older. Children 12 years old and younger are free. Seniors who are 65 years old and older are $5 and active military with ID are free.

Thursday, July 4
