Kindergarten Informational Meetings Scheduled: Report

Parents of incoming kindergarteners are reportedly invited to the meetings.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Parents of children starting kindergarten next school year have been invited to information meetings to address the district's dual-language program, according to My Suburban Life.

The paper reported the meeting will be held Jan. 31 Feb. 2 at the CORE Center in Crystal Lake.

"The meetings are presented in both languages," My Suburban Life has reported. "On Jan. 31, a presentation spoken in English will be from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by the presentation in Spanish from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. On Feb. 2, a presentation spoken in English will be from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. followed by the presentation in Spanish from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m."

According to My Suburban Life, the "dual-language program integrates native English-speaking students with Spanish-speaking students for academic instruction."
