Lake in the Hills Man's Freestyle Rap Video Ends in Arrest, $20,000 Bond
Lawyer claims client was "just messing around."

A 24-year-old Lake in the Hills man appeared in court Monday on charges of threatening a public official. Gerard Golston allegedly threatened a police office in a rap video, which can be seen here.
The Chicago Tribune is reporting his original bond was set at $35,000, but was successfully reduced to $20,000.
ABC 7 reports that the man turned himself in to police on Jan. 11.

His Facebook status that day was, ”Peace out every body it was good knowing you nice holiday. Turn up for me. I know i got real people out there. WAR TIME.”
Golston next appears in court on Feb. 17
