Lake in the Hills Rockin' Rotary Ribfest: BBQ is Back!
Delicious barbecue, live entertainment and carnival rides pack four-day festival at Sunset Park.

It's that time of year again!Â
This year's fest runs Thursday through Sunday, July 11-14, and has packed in plenty of professional ribbers and lots of delicious fest food favorites, such as roasted corn, homemade lemonade and funnel cakes.Â
In addition to all the good food, Rockin' Ribfest has lined up some of the best bands in the Chicagoland area. Bands include Soul Asylum, 7th Heaven, Cover Gurl, Kashmir: The Led Zeppelin Concert, Dave Rudolph's Beach Party and many more.

As in past years, the Ribfest will be rockin' a Car Show from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday.Â
And this year, the public is invited to join the grilling action. The fest is hosting a Lip Smackin' BBQ Smack-Down Community Rib Cook-off. Click here to download complete rules and registration.

Ribfest Admission:
- $5 for those 13-years and older
- Free for kids 12 and under, must be accompanied by an adult
- Free for active military, must show ID card
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday
Gates open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
The Rockin’ Ribfest is the signature fund-raising event for the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club. The club is a service organization, made up of business and professional leaders, that donates money and time to local community organizations through fund-raising efforts.Â
Your participation in this event will help assure that the people and organizations in need of help will get the resources they need.
All proceeds from Rockin’ Ribfest go to support the LITH Rotary Charities.
