Man, 28, Sentenced For Sexually Assaulting Unconscious Woman

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A 28-year-old Wisconsin man has been sentenced to seven years in prison in a sexual assault case.

Joshua Bailey entered a negotiated plea of guilty to a charge of criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 felony, on Tuesday, according to a news release from the McHenry County State's Attorney's Office.

The charge stems from a November 2024 investigation where authorities linked Bailey to a sexual assault, according to prosecutors.

Multiple videos showed the various assaults, which took place in Illinois and Wisconsin, according to the news release.

Bailey will be required to serve 85 percent of his sentence on the McHenry County charge before he is eligible for release. He must register for the rest of his life as a sex offender.
