Man, 76, Found Dead In Burning Car In Fox Lake
The cause of the man's death has not yet been determined, according to the Lake County Coroner's Office.
FOX LAKE, IL — A 76-year-old Fox Lake man was found dead inside a burning car in his driveway Tuesday afternoon.
The Fox Lake Fire Protection District was called to the fire at the home in the 0 to 100 block of Scenic Lane at about 2 p.m. on Tuesday and found the vehicle on fire in the driveway, according to a news release.
Once firefighters put the blaze out, they found the body of a man inside in the driver's seat, fire officials said.

The man has been identified as Walter Drogos of Fox Lake. Drogos suffered severe burns but the Lake County Coroner's Office has not officially ruled on his cause of death. Coroner's office officials are waiting on toxicology students, including carbon monoxide testing, to determine the cause of Drogos death.
Meanwhile, the cause of his death remains under investigation.
