Man Arrested In Woodstock Stabbing
Arthur E. Johnson has been charged with aggravated battery - deadly weapon and aggravated battery - great bodily harm.
WOODSTOCK, IL — A 69-year-old Woodstock man faces charges for allegations he stabbed another person on Monday morning in Woodstock.
Arthur E. Johnson has been charged with aggravated battery - deadly weapon and aggravated battery - great bodily harm. Johnson is accused stabbing another man in the chest, according to Woodstock police.
Emergency crews were first called to the Shell gas station at 110 N. Eastwood Drive at about 11:20 a.m. Monday where they found the man outside the building with a "serious chest laceration," according to the news release.

The man was first taken by ambulance to Northwestern Medicine Hospital in Woodstock and then airlifted to Javon Be a Hospital - Riverside in Rockford for further treatment.
While at the scene of the stabbing, the man who'd been stabbed told police who stabbed him, according to authorities. The person of interest was located at the scene of the stabbing and taken into custody.

Johnson was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
