Man Hit by Train Identified as Crystal Lake Resident
The McHenry County Coroner has announced the identification of the man hit by a Metra train Saturday in Crystal Lake.
A 44-year-old Crystal Lake resident was hit by an eastbound Metra train Saturday morning.
Timothy W. Pickett was prinounced dead at 6:38 a.m., Saturday. He was hit on the railroad tracks behind 264 Exchange Drive in Crystal Lake.
The Coroner’s Office will conduct an examination and toxicology tests May 4.
