A Georgia man wanted for cyberstalking and violating an order of protection was arrested after he told police he was driving to Illinois to turn himself in, but was actually violating an order of protection again, police said.
Logan N. Brabbs, 22, of the 100 block of Silver Fox Parkway in Dallas, Georgia, was wanted for one count of cyberstalking, eight counts of violating an order of protection and one count of unlawful possession of firearm ammunition.

The Cary Police Department said that Brabbs violated an active order of protection on multiple occasions between March and May in Cary. Investigators obtained arrest warrants for the man, who was believed to be living in Georgia.
On Wednesday, a police investigator spoke on the phone with Brabbs, who said that he was driving from Georgia to turn himself in at the McHenry County Jail.

Cary Deputy Police Chief Scott Naydenoff said that police were concerned with Brabbs’ motives and officers began closely monitoring a protected location under an order of protection.
Officers located Brabbs in his vehicle near the protected location in violation of the order of protection, Naydenoff said.
Officers found a loaded pistol magazine and loose ammunition in his vehicle; however, no firearms were located.
Brabbs was arrested and transported to the McHenry County Jail where he remains held on a $20,000 bond.
