The recovery of the body comes after nearly a full day of searching for a missing boater on Fox Lake.
Emergency crews initially responded to Fox Lake at about 5:30 p.m. for a report of two men who went overboard after their boat took a turn at "too fast of a speed," Covelli told Patch. The incident happened near Captain's Quarters, 38283 N. Bolton Place in Antioch.

Neither of the men had life jackets on at the time, Covelli said. One of the men was rescued by a passing boat, and the other man went underwater and did not resurface, according to police.
The man who was rescued was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained while trying to get back onto his boat, which was traveling in circles in the water, Covelli said.
A search for the missing boater began Monday evening and continued into the evening hours. It resumed on Tuesday morning, Covelli said.
