Motorcyclist Transported by Flight for Life after Saturday Night Accident

A 27-year-old man was transported by Flight for Life helicopter at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, after his motorcycle crashed in Lakemoor, the Northwest Herald reports. 

McHenry Township Fire Department responded to the crash, which occurred near 2880 Bay Meadow Lane. The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was found lying in the ditch. He was flown to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville with head and other injuries, according to the Herald. His named was not released.
