New Italian Restaurant To Open Mid-October

750 Cucina Rustica will feature a menu designed around their brick oven.

An Italian restaurant plans to open in downtown Cary by mid-October at 7 Jandus Road. 750 Cucina Rustica, previously occupied by Galati's restaurant, is undergoing a $300,000 renovation, according to the Northwest Herald.

“We’ve designed it with the intent to be very family-friendly, and I think just the design of the space is conducive to that,” said co-owner Sallie LoBue in the story.

The 3,300 square foot restaurant will have seating for about 96 and will include a video gaming space that will have five terminals, and a bar with an entrance off Spring Street.

The restaurant's menu is designed around their 750-degree brick oven - with items including pasta dishes served in cast-iron bakeware, pizza, short rib ragu and arancini.

The family is also part-owners of ZaZa’s Tavola Italiana in Lake Barrington and Incontro A Tavola in South Barrington, according to Sallie LoBue in the story.
