Park District Looking For Old Artificial Trees

The park district wants to turn the trees into "exciting new displays."

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Got an old artificial Christmas tree you’re thinking of putting out to pasture? Well, give it to the Crystal Lake Park District. The people there want to do something with it.

“The Crystal Lake Park District Nature Center is collecting retired artificial trees for exciting new displays,” the park district said in a press release. “Please contact John Fiorina at jfiorina@crystallakeparks.org, (815) 455-1763. Your donations are tax deductible (and you are helping the environment).”
